Hooked on Multivitamin Gummies

Dr. Tanya Morin was born and raised in St. Albert, Alberta, in a home where healthy living was the norm—and vitamin gummies were a serious childhood highlight. Regular visits to both a naturopathic and conventional doctor gave her an early appreciation for integrative care, but it was always the visits to see her ND that felt extra special.

From the Classroom to the Clinic

Although she originally dreamed of being a kindergarten teacher, her path took a meaningful turn. She completed a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education at the University of Alberta and spent a semester teaching in China, where she deepened her appreciation for traditional Chinese medicine and holistic health practices.

Around the same time, her growing love of nutrition and biochemistry—paired with part-time work in a naturopathic clinic—sparked a bigger realization: she could combine her passion for teaching with a deeper approach to healing as a naturopathic doctor.

She followed that calling to the Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine) in Tempe, Arizona—trading snow for four years of sunshine, clinical experience, and immersion in naturopathic medicine.

MonTanya: The Residency Chapter

After graduation, she returned to cooler climates to complete a general medicine residency at an integrative clinic in Bozeman, Montana. There, she collaborated with a diverse group of healthcare professionals and solidified her commitment to a whole-person, root-cause approach to care.

The Healing Philosophy

Since 2018, Dr. Morin has been rooted in Red Deer as part of the Aspire Medicine team. Her practice is centered on uncovering and treating the root causes of complex, chronic conditions. While she supports patients across all life stages, she has a particular interest in chronic infections, mold toxicity, mycotoxin illness, and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS).

Dr. Morin believes that true healing is never one-size-fits-all. She offers a deeper approach, blending intuitive insight with evidence-based medicine to uncover and address the root causes of illness. Whether someone is navigating long-standing symptoms or just beginning their health journey, her mission is to help patients feel seen, heard, and empowered every step of the way.

She’s deeply committed to helping patients understand what’s happening in their body—and why—while also recognizing that lasting healing often requires supporting the whole person, including the physical body, nervous system, and the emotional and energetic patterns that influence health.

Dr. Morin is a licensed naturopathic doctor through the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA) and provides both in-person and virtual care to patients across Alberta.

Beyond the Clinic

When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her hiking in the mountains, skiing, or upside down in an aerial hoop. She also enjoys studying astrology, gardening, traveling, and spending quality time with her beloved cats, Pete and Suki.
